My provider is Gupshup

• The client along with Chat-Tonic will create an account on GupShup.

  • A customer's Google or Facebook account is required to complete this step.
    

• In the event that the Business Manager exists and is verified, the client, together with Chat-Tonic, will initiate the phone number approval process, for which ADMINISTRATOR access to the Business Manager is required. A few days after WhatsApp approval, an SMS will need to be sent to the registered phone to confirm its existence.
  

• In the event that the Business Manager does not exist or is not verified, the client together with Chat-Tonic will initiate Embedded Onboarding, where a new Business Manager will be created.
  

  • A Facebook account is needed (any personal account will do) to be able to join the Business Manager to said GupShup account and in addition, an SMS will need to be sent to the registered phone number to confirm its existence.
    

  • Once all the information has been uploaded, the WhatsApp number will be enabled to be used by up to 1,500 people for 30 days while the business is validated.
    

  • Within 30 days, the business can be validated and ready to use, or access will be denied and how to proceed will need to be reviewed.

My provider is different from Gupshup

If you do not have a verified FB Manager account and your provider is not GupShup, on the one hand, the FB account must be created/verified and then associated with the WhatsApp number to use.

To create a Facebook Manager account and verify it, follow these steps 👇

1) How to create a Facebook business account?

• Go to http://business.facebook.com and click “Create Account.” This will be associated with the personal Facebook account that is open at that moment. If you do not have an active session, you will need to log in to your account.

• Register the name of your business, your name, and work email. Then click “Submit.

2) Fill out your company information

• Complete the fields with your company information. You will notice that there are two usage options. The first one is ideal for those who promote their service or product. The second option, is for those who promote the services of other companies, such as agencies.

• Enter your email and confirm your account.

3) Verify FB Manager

• Start verification:

  • Go to the path “Business Settings” -> “Security Center” and click on -> “Start Verification”.

    • If the button is disabled, you must create an application. But don't worry! Doing it is much simpler than it sounds.

    • Visit http://developers.facebook.com If you already have an account, go to the “My applications” option. If you don't have an account yet, go to “Getting Started” and complete the registration.

    • When you are in “My Apps”, click on “Create App”, “Business” and “Continue”, fill out your details, and click on “Create App”.

    • Then, go back to “Security Center,” reload the site, and click the “Start Verification” button, which should now be enabled.

• Register your company information

  • Keep in mind that the business name, telephone number, and address are data that are verified with your website and the documents that you are going to upload in the next steps, so they must match.

• Verify the legal name of your company

  • Upload an official file that corresponds to the company name you have previously declared.

    In the case of Argentina, you need to attach a PDF with valid documentation from the entity:

    statute

    • CUIT Certificate

    • Proof of service in your name, where the company name and physical address appear on all documents.

• Check the address or telephone number of your company

  • Proceed in the same way with a document with the company's telephone number or address.

• Verify security code

  • Choose a way to verify the Facebook security code: SMS, email, or phone call, and follow the instructions. And that's it! Afterward, you must wait for the response from Facebook.
