WhatsApp pricing update

Starting June 1, 2023, WhatsApp will implement some modifications to its pricing plans.
WhatsApp maintains the charging scheme for 24-hour sessions, except for free entry point conversations (those initiated via Ads that will be 72-hour sessions).
Those sessions started by the user or by the company will have different values.
The first 1,000 sessions per month (initiated by the user) have no WhatsApp cost.
Business Initiated Sessions (HSM) will now have 3 categories: Marketing - Utility - Authentication
There will be 3 categories
Marketing conversations: These conversations include promotions or offers, sending information or invitations to the user to take an action.
Utility conversations: These conversations are those that notify the user about an update in a process or a requirement for an ongoing process. Some examples could be trade confirmations, status updates, or after-sales confirmations.
Authentication conversations: These conversations allow users to be authenticated via OTP, identity or phone number validation in a registration process or password or account recovery.
Costs applied per session are based on the country code of the user's phone, not the company's.
New costs by category
While the cost of HSMs comes from WhatsApp, the total cost calculation is calculated relative to Gupshup values.
