To carry out this process, the ideal is to schedule a meeting with the Chat-Tonic team to do it together.

  • The client along with Chat-Tonic will create an account on GupShup.

    • (warning) A customer's Google or Facebook account is required to complete this step.

  • In the event that the Business Manager exists and is verified, the client, together with Chat-Tonic, will initiate the phone number approval process, for which ADMINISTRATOR access to the Business Manager is required. A few days after WhatsApp approval, an SMS will need to be sent to the registered phone to confirm its existence.

  • In the event that the Business Manager does not exist or is not verified, the client together with Chat-Tonic will initiate Embedded Onboarding, where a new Business Manager will be created.

    • (warning) A Facebook account is needed (any personal account will do) to be able to join the Business Manager to said GupShup account and in addition, an SMS will need to be sent to the registered phone number to confirm its existence.

    • Once all the information has been uploaded, the WhatsApp number will be enabled to be used by up to 1,500 people for 30 days while the business is validated.

    • Within 30 days, the business can be validated and ready to use, or access will be denied and how to proceed will need to be reviewed.

Si no cuentas con una cuenta de FB Manager verificada y tu proveedor no es GupShup, por un lado, se deberá hacer la creación/verificación de la cuenta de FB y luego asociarla al número de WhatsApp a utilizar.

Para crear una cuenta de FB Manager y verificarla, se deben seguir los siguientes pasos 👇

1) ¿Cómo crear una cuenta comercial en Facebook?

  • Dirígete a business.facebook.com y haz clic en “Crear cuenta”. Esta se asociará con la cuenta personal de Facebook que esté abierta en ese momento. Si no tienes ninguna sesión activa, será necesario que ingreses a tu cuenta.

  • Registra el nombre de tu negocio, tu nombre y correo electrónico laboral. Luego haz clic en “Enviar”.

2) Completar la información de tu empresa

  • Completa los campos con la información de tu empresa. Notarás que hay dos opciones de uso. La primera es ideal para quienes promocionan su servicio o producto. La segunda opción, para quienes promocionan los servicios de otras empresas, como las agencias.

  • Ingresa a tu correo electrónico y confirma tu cuenta.

3) Verificar FB Manager

  • Iniciar la verificación:

    • Ir a la ruta “Configuración del negocio” -> “Centro de seguridad” y haz clic en -> “Iniciar verificación”.

      • Si el botón está desactivado debes crear una aplicación. ¡Pero no te preocupes! Hacerlo es mucho más simple de lo que suena

      • Dirígete a developers.facebook.com. Si ya tienes una cuenta, ve a la opción “Mis aplicaciones”. Si aún no tienes una cuenta, ve a “Primeros pasos” y completa el registro.

      • Cuando estés en “Mis aplicaciones”, haz clic en “Crear App”, “Empresa” y “Continuar”, llena tus datos y haz clic en “Crear aplicación”.

      • Luego, regresa a “Centro de seguridad”, vuelve a cargar el sitio y haz clic en el botón de “Iniciar verificación”, el cual ya debería estar habilitado.

  • Registrar la información de tu empresa

    • Hay que tener en cuenta que el nombre comercial, el teléfono y la dirección son datos que se comprueban con tu sitio web y los documentos que vas a cargar en los próximos pasos así que deben coincidir.

  • Verifica el nombre jurídico de tu empresa

    • Sube un archivo oficial que corresponda al nombre de la empresa que has declarado previamente.

      Para el caso de Argentina, se necesita adjuntar un PDF con documentación válida de la entidad:

      • Estatuto

      • Certificado de CUIT

      • Comprobante de servicio a su nombre donde figure la razón social y la dirección física igual en todos los documentos.

  • Comprueba la dirección o el teléfono de tu empresa

    • Procede de la misma forma con un documento con el teléfono o dirección de la empresa.

  • Verifica el código de seguridad

    • Elige un modo para verificar el código de seguridad de Facebook: SMS, correo o llamada telefónica y sigue las instrucciones. Y ¡listo! Después debes esperar la respuesta de Facebook.

En el caso de que tu solicitud no sea aprobada, puedes volver a enviarla con documentación adicional que compruebe la veracidad de los datos

If you do not have a verified FB Manager account and your provider is not GupShup, on the one hand, the FB account must be created/verified and then associated with the WhatsApp number to use.

To create a FB Manager account and verify it, follow these steps 👇

1) How to create a Facebook business account?

  • Go to http://business.facebook.com and click “Create Account.” This will be associated with the personal Facebook account that is open at that moment. If you do not have an active session, you will need to log in to your account.

  • Register the name of your business, your name and work email. Then click “Submit.

2) Fill out your company information

  • Complete the fields with your company information. You will notice that there are two usage options. The first one is ideal for those who promote their service or product. The second option, for those who promote the services of other companies, such as agencies.

  • Enter your email and confirm your account.

3) Verify FB Manager

  • Start verification:

    • Go to the path “Business Settings” -> “Security Center” and click on -> “Start Verification”.

      • If the button is disabled, you must create an application. But don't worry! Doing it is much simpler than it sounds.

      • Visit http://developers.facebook.com If you already have an account, go to the “My applications” option. If you don't have an account yet, go to “Getting Started” and complete the registration.

      • When you are in “My Apps”, click on “Create App”, “Business” and “Continue”, fill out your details, and click on “Create App”.

      • Then, go back to “Security Center,” reload the site, and click the “Start Verification” button, which should now be enabled.

  • Register your company information

    • Keep in mind that the business name, telephone number and address are data that are verified with your website and the documents that you are going to upload in the next steps, so they must match.

    • Upload an official file that corresponds to the company name you have previously declared.

      In the case of Argentina, you need to attach a PDF with valid documentation from the entity:

      • CUIT Certificate

      • Proof of service in your name where the company name and physical address appear on all documents.

  • Check the address or telephone number of your company

    • Proceed in the same way with a document with the company's telephone number or address.

    • Choose a way to verify the Facebook security code: SMS, email or phone call and follow the instructions. And that's it! Afterwards you must wait for the response from Facebook.
